Onward Babe

About Onward Babe

Onward Babe exists for the part nobody prepares you for: the appointment where you don't know what to ask, the result nobody explains, the moment someone says "everything looks normal" and hands you nothing to do next.

You tell us where you are. We tell you what matters at this stage, what to ask, what you might hear about, what usually comes next, and when it's completely reasonable to go get another opinion.

We're not going to promise you a baby. Nobody honest can. What we can do is make sure you never walk into an appointment unprepared again.

What we stand on

Why this exists

I built Onward Babe because I remember how overwhelming it felt to not know what to ask, what to do next, or whether I was supposed to just accept the first answer I got. It took me a few providers before one ran the test that changed everything. I wanted the resource I wish I'd had: clear, evidence-based, and on your side.

Where our information comes from

Every Path and article is written from current professional guidelines — the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the NIH and its Office of Dietary Supplements, the CDC, peer-reviewed literature, and other major medical bodies. Sources are cited on every page, with the date we last checked them.

But guidelines alone don't answer the question most women actually have, which isn't "how do I avoid disease" — it's "what can I realistically do to give myself the best shot?" So we also read the primary research, independent evidence synthesis like Examine, international bodies including ESHRE, NICE and the WHO, and the health-optimization world, which often notices something years before it reaches a guideline. Supplement companies and individual experts help us find ideas. They never count as proof.

Everything substantive carries an evidence label, from strong through insufficient, so you can tell settled science from early research at a glance. Where guidelines disagree with each other, or with the research, we show you both. Here's exactly how we vet it.

What this is not

Not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan. We don't know your history and we're not a substitute for the person who does. Our job is to make your time with them count.

Your privacy

The questions we ask aren't medical and aren't stored anywhere — they live only in the address of your Path. We never ask for lab results, cycle data, or diagnoses. Read the privacy policy.
